SLP was formed due to the under representation of Muslims in school, its aim - to ensure that the voice of Muslim students are heard and that their concerns are dealt with. SLP assists students in organising prayer facilities, study circles, camps, as well as dealing with issues as drugs,family bereavement, teenage pregnancies and other social ills.

Food4Thought is a project of SLP. It is a study support package that is unique and comprehensive with a vision to enhance the academic and social achievement of young people from all BME backgrounds. We provide after school study support in school premises and community centers, 1-2-1 tutoring, ooster sessions, univrsity visits, mentoring, food, day trips, summer residentials and have an extensive partnership network with the wider society. |
